The Bio-Story
of Bethany Argisle and Elson Haas
Once upon a moment, a magical children’s storyteller
(Bethany), met a charming, young doctor (Elson).
Together, they began writing and performing in schools as
the “Princess of Argisle” and “Dr. Sun,” sharing with
children the wonders of the human body, important
aspects of nutrition, and living in harmony with the Earth.
Over the years, Princess Argisle, Dr. Sun, and their
performing team have had many wonderful educational
experiences through many venues with children of all ages.
Bethany and Elson are colleagues now for several
decades and are a productive, creative team with many
successful products and projects specializing in the areas
of health and environmental awareness and education.
These include:
• Staying Healthy with the Seasons (1981, 2004)
continuously in print under the Celestial Arts banner with
more than 200,000 sold plus other languages, and is
considered a classic in the field of Integrated Medicine.
• Staying Healthy with Nutrition (1992, 2006) is a 1,000
+page book used for students, families, and professionals
as a course and source book.
• The New Detox Diet and several other books by Dr.
Haas and team
• Health Harvest Unlimited, Inc. (“The harvest of health
is unlimited.”) brought the original anatomical t-shirts to the
California market at a key time for the self-help and new
medicine/health movement, and then produced their own
line of edu-wear (educational clothing as “living books”)
and sox.
• Sole Sox™ (licensed since 1980), with more than two
million sold, the Acu-T (acupuncture points and anatomy),
and other designs.
After many years of performing their songs written for all
the body systems with accompanying anatomical t-shirt
designs (by Leslie Arwin, MD, professor of anatomy at
University of Michigan), and the many requests from
teachers and parents, this growing team has put together
a new product entitled The Anatomix Comix™. The
Anatomix Comix is the first of many kid-devoted health
products they have ready, as well as other specific projects
in developmental stages. Thus, this team is joining with
partners/supporters to move the cause of health and joyful
education for the children and families over the globe in an
inspiring way. Now they are ready with the prototypes of
these practical and joyful learning tools.
